On Saturday the 24th march a team of TKD Power™ students competed at the UKTA English Taekwondo championships.
The 1st medal of the day came following a very impressive performance from Amy Keho which earned her a silver medal in green belt patterns.
Unfortunately Jake Chamberlain and Bryn Kehoe, who both gave very impressive performancees, narrowly missed out on a medal.
Next up was Shane Barber who, true to form, put in an unbelievable performance to win Gold in green belt sparring. Shane was followed by Sarah Godden 1st Dan who achieved a silver medal for Black belt sparring and, to match her Dad and Dover TKD Instructor, Matthew Godden 2nd dan who also achieved silver in sparring.
Well done to everyone who competed and thank you to the officials including Mr Avenell 3rd dan who make these competitions possible.
