Members of the TKD Power™ Thaner Schools congregated at Chopstix, Canterbury on Saturday night, to constitute a new governing body for the local group.
Mr. Antony Panteli VIth Dan, formerly handed over control of the schools to the newly exected executive, which was formed to take the group forward as an Independently Constituted Community Association.
The hand-over will see the seperation of the management and administration of the group from the Taekwon-Do and Technical aspects, which will still rigouressly follow the hierarchal structure of the traditional art.
Mr. Panteli was elated at the commitment to the movement, shown by the members present, and expressed his delight that once again, TKD Power™ was pioneering the operation of Taekwon-Do schools in the UK, by demonstrating that a Taekwon-Do group could be managed in a democratic and transparent way, completely for the benefit of its entire membership, and not just for the senior blackbelts.

Chairman: Mick Kehoe
Secretary: Justine Harrod
Treasurer: Nicola Elsworth
Membership Welfare Officer: Kim Kehoe (to include child protection)
Chief Instructor & ITF Advisor: Antony Panteli
