Members from Thanet and Dover congregated at the Mnster TKD Power™ Centre on Saturday (02/03/2013) to be tested for colour belt promotions by an Examination Panel consisting of Mr. Antony Panteli VI Dan, Mr. Matthew Godden III Dan, Miss Nicola Elsworth II Dan and Mr. Joseph Mitchell II Dan. The proceedings were conducted by Miss Sarah Godden II Dan.
Full Results
The members` performances were of the usual high standard with Distinction level passes being awarded to:
Amy Godden Promoted to 1st Kup
Mary Sladden Promoted to 7th Kup
Oliver Cory Promoted to 9th Kup
Pippa Marsh Promoted to 9th Kup
The result was particularly poignant for Amy Kehoe for whom this was the final colourbelt grading before progression to the black belt ranks, having achieved an unprecedented unbroken grading result history consisting of all Distinction level passes, including two double promotions. Coupled with her grading success, Amy has also achieved a continuous stream of tournament Gold medals along the way which include a World Cup Championship.
Amy`s next challenge will be to maintain her standard through the black belt grades, as she now begins preparations for a black belt examination later this year.
